  Slow service, but even slower at the drive-through. Only even use the branch since they are in a network with another credit union I have an account with. Be very patient or go elsewhere.

  I personally think this school is pretty good. Pretty much no bullying what so ever. (And they do have a month and a half dedicated to real life things people! J.A.) Please do not let the negative reviews pull you away! The school is a very good learning environment, the counselors are fantastic, and the staff is very nice. However the kids are most of the problem (the problem is pretty small but..) There are lots of snobby rich white kids at this school. From my point of view, they are very annoying to me and most of my friends. They get the latest phone... All apple products... blah... blah... blah... you get the point, they are a living breathing stereotype. However, that doesn't take away from the school as a whole, you can easily avoid these people. Now for the teachers. All the reviews for this say something about the teachers screaming at kids. Remember these are thirteen year olds. when they mean "screaming" they mean getting irritated because the kids are talking and not doing any work. Imagine trying to rile down a room of up to 33 kids, and they just do not listen to you, its like talking to a brick wall. That's pretty irritating, and I can tell where they're coming from. Only sometimes do they go over the line. If you're coming from Elementary and you have friends, it will be a very enjoyable time! Even if you don't come from the Elementary its easy to make friends. The food is pretty good, but I mean... If its that repulsive just pack a lunch. Also, the "pointless" (which is completely opinionated by the way.) things we learn like art, are electives and are completely optional! :) Most of these reviews are exaggerated.

• Review of "Henderson Bay High School" at Gig Harbor

  It was great at first till some of the current staff showed there true colors. It made me feel ashamed to be apart of a false adverstising school of some what called choice. In some ways it is, yet the students with a court order to be there is not a choice. Parents who force there kids to be there is not a choice. They say it's ur choice, guess what that's not always true. Some of the staff that's been here since 2014 when I started sadly were not that pleasant to have as a teacher, I hate to say. During my junior year was probably the worst year ever at HBHS. My English teacher was not at her best that year. I went to the principle as well as other students nothing changed to help us have a better understanding with eachother, it was a nightmare. When things wern't getting better I decided to transfer to ghhs for senior year. I'm excited to start a new year and I hope to have a better experience with teachers. High school isn't all about the education and grades. It's also the relationships and friendships you build with one another during those 4 years. Every student should be able to feel excited, not feel so down when they have to deal with that teacher or staff member that makes there high school experience a living hell. I had my experience here it was not so great, yet I hope any student that comes here has a better experience then me.
